WRAL is your Hoops Headquarters for the NCAA tournament. Use this guide to find all the games, plus your usual favorites – news, soaps and prime time programs.
On WRAL-TV
Customers of Time Warner Digital Cable can choose between the simultaneous games of the Sweet Sixteen. All games will be broadcast in high definition on channels 1051-1052. The games will be available in standard definition on channels 1061-1062.
Even if the main game is a blowout and CBS switches away, you can find a constant feed of the Butler/Syracuse, Cornell/Kentucky and Tennessee/Ohio State games on channel 1053 in HD and 1063 in SD.
Because CBS is replacing prime time programming usually on WRAL-TV with the games of the NCAA Tournament nationwide, the following shows will not air anywhere in the country on Thursday, March 25, and Friday, March 26.
* Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains
* CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
* The Mentalist
* Ghost Whisperer
* Medium
Fans of those shows need not worry about missing an episode.
WRAL’s late night newscast is scheduled to begin after the games, at about midnight on Thursday and Friday nights.
WRAL-TV will have the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight games Saturday afternoon beginning at 3 p.m.
