Another #5 seed goes home early.
No fifth-seeded team has ever won the ACC Tournament, and that trend continues as #12 seed Georgia Tech upsets #5 seed Clemson 86-81.
Lewis Clinch led Georgia Tech with a career-high 32 points. The Yellowjackets advance to face #4 seed Florida State in the 2:30 game Friday.
