Archer on hand for Clayton park dedication

Clayton, N.C. — Clayton native Chris Archer, who made his way from T-ball to the Durham Bulls and finished the season with the Tampa Bay Rays, will be back Sunday for the dedication of the newest park in his hometown.
East Clayton Community Park, at 1774 Glen Laurel Road, features Clayton's first regulation baseball and soccer fields, along with walking trails, multi-purpose play areas and a picnic pavillion.
Archer's appearance is scheduled for Sunday at 2 p.m.
