Carolina Brewery and the Durham Bulls today announced the creation of Bullpen Pale Ale, a new beer that will be available at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, Carolina Brewery's restaurants and other Triangle locations beginning this spring.
"We are very excited about this new relationship," said Robert Poitras owner of Carolina Brewery, "We feel fortunate to be the ones chosen to bring a high quality local product into the ballpark. We are confident beer fans across the Triangle will enjoy this easy drinking pale ale."
Bullpen Pale Ale will be located at multiple locations in the park, including a Carolina Brewery stand on the main concourse.
"I think a big part of the fun in coming to Bulls games is enjoying the new food and beverage options at the ballpark every year," Durham Bulls General Manager Mike Birling said, "I'm confident Bullpen Pale Ale will help us continue that tradition."
Carolina Brewery, with locations in Chapel Hill and Pittsboro, is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. The locally-owned brewery and restaurant has drawn international attention for its hand-crafted beers that are distributed to local restaurants and stores through Harris Inc.
The Bulls play the Tampa Bay Rays in a Spring Training Showdown on Saturday, April 3rd at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. For tickets, call (919) 956-BULL or order online at www.durhambulls.com.
