Raleigh, N.C. — The Carolina Hurricanes have traded right wing Zac Dalpe and center Jeremy Welsh to the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for right wing Kellan Tochkin and a fourth-round pick in the 2014 NHL Draft, the team announced early Sunday.
Tochkin, 22, tallied 44 points (15g, 29a) in 56 games with the Missouri Mavericks of the Central Hockey League in 2012-13.

Welsh tallied one assist in five games with the Hurricanes in 2012-13.
The Hurricanes also announced on Sunday that forward Chris Terry has been reassigned to the Checkers, pending him clearing waivers at 12 p.m. Monday.
