Tempe, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Jahii Carson poured in a game-high 26 points to lead the Arizona State Sun Devils past the Stanford Cardinal, 76-64, in Pac-12 Conference action at Wells Fargo Arena.

Carson shot 8-of-11 from the field and knocked down all eight of his free- throw tries for ASU (20-8, 9-6 Pac-12), which snapped a two-game losing skid. Jermaine Marshall netted 16 points for the hosts, while Shaquille McKissic added 10 points and Jonathan Gilling handed out six assists.

For Stanford (18-9, 9-6), which had won three straight prior to this matchup, Anthony Brown led the way with 21 points, Chasson Randle poured in 17 points, Dwight Powell had 11 points and Josh Huestis registered nine points, eight rebounds and three blocks.

ASU carried a 39-29 lead into intermission after shooting a lofty 53.8 percent from the field in the opening stanza, including 7-of-11 3-point range. Stanford, meanwhile, made good on only 38.2 percent of its tries from the floor.

The Sun Devils shot even better from the field in the second stanza (.565) as their lead swelled to as many as 18 down the stretch.

ASU finished 10-of-19 from 3-point range, while Stanford was a mere 6-of-19 from beyond the arc.
