GAME NOTES: The Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans had a four-game win streak snapped Saturday, and now the Trojans look to get back to their winning ways as they host the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers in Sun Belt Conference action at E.A. Diddle Arena.

UALR had won four in a row, starting with a victory over Grambling on Dec. 30 and ended with a loss to Troy in Sun Belt play - the Trojans' first conference loss this season on Saturday, 75-62.

Western Kentucky has sprinkled losses here and there in the last month. The Hilltoppers had won two in a row and five of their last six before a loss last Thursday to Georgia State, 77-54. It was Western Kentucky's first conference loss of the season.

The Hilltoppers have a strong hold of the all-time series against UALR, 34-12. The teams will meet up again in the regular season on Feb. 8 in Little Rock.

UALR tried several comeback attempts against Troy Saturday, but couldn't complete anything substantial in the loss. Will Neighbour led all Trojan scorers with 13 points on 6-of-15 shooting from the floor, but was 0-of-4 from 3-point range. Neighbour added five rebounds in 28 minutes of action. James White netted 12 points and blocked four shots, while Kemy Osse scored 10 points off the bench. The Trojans shot 39.7 percent from the floor in the game.

Neighbour leads the team in scoring this season with 16.9 ppg, and in rebounding at 7.4 rpg. The big man is shooting a healthy 48.9 percent from the floor and is first on the squad in steals with 24. Josh Hagins is second on UALR with 11.7 ppg, and White is third at 10.6 ppg. The Trojans are netting 71.1 ppg this season, but allowing opponents to score 73.5 ppg.

Georgia State opened the second half against Western Kentucky with 15 unanswered points that set the Hilltoppers back too far to recover. T.J. Price was the only WKU player to net double-digit points in the contest, scoring 15 on 4-of-13 shooting, including 2-of-10 from 3-point range. Brandon Harris came off the bench to score nine points, and George Fant grabbed 13 rebounds in the game - 10 on the offensive glass. The Hilltoppers shot a dismal 28.6 percent from the floor.

Price leads the Hilltoppers this season in scoring at 16.7 ppg on 41.8 percent shooting from the field. Fant is second at 13.7 ppg, and is first on the roster with 7.1 rpg. He's by far the team leader in blocked shots with 18, and has a team-high 16 steals. The Hilltoppers are shooting 41 percent from the floor this season, and scoring 67.1 ppg.

Western Kentucky shot horribly in its last outing, and needs more players to step up if the team wants to stay competitive. At home the Hilltoppers should rebound from the loss to Troy.
