San Diego, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Duda Sanadze paced all scorers with 22 points, as the San Diego Toreros used a strong second half to blow past the Loyola Marymount Lions, 74-67, in a West Coast Conference clash at Jenny Craig Pavilion.

Sanadze was nearly automatic from the free-throw line, shooting 14-of-15 for USD (10-7, 1-3 WCC), which snapped a three-game losing streak. Christopher Anderson scored 20 points on 9-of-15 from the field, while Dennis Kramer added 14 points for the hosts.

For Loyola (10-7, 2-3), which has lost back-to-back games, Anthony Ireland finished with 18 points and Evan Payne netted 17.

Loyola outshot USD from the field in the first half, 46.2 percent to 38.5 percent, as it went into the break holding to a 28-25 lead.

The Toreros took the lead with just over 16 minutes remaining on an Anderson jumper and would hold on to the advantage for the rest of the contest. They pulled away late in the frame thanks to an 8-2 run, and they drilled 8-of-8 at the foul line over the final 47 seconds to seal their fate.

USD held a convincing 37-23 advantage in the rebounding battle.
