Richmond, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - Treveon Graham filled the stat sheet with 25 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, as the Virginia Commonwealth Rams downed the George Washington Colonials, 92-75, in an Atlantic 10 Conference showdown at the Siegel Center.

Melvin Johnson came off the bench to shoot 5-of-8 from beyond the arc for 21 points for VCU (20-5, 8-2 A-10), which has yet to lose at home this season in 13 tries. Rob Brandenberg scored 15 points, Juvonte Reddic had 10 points and Briante Weber swiped seven steals and handed out six assists.

For GW (19-5, 7-3), which had won seven of its previous eight games, Isaiah Armwood and Maurice Creek both poured in 17 points, Patricio Garino netted 16 and Kevin Larsen put up a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

VCU shot a modest 43.2 percent from the field in the first half but knocked down 8-of-14 from 3-point range en route to a comfortable 45-28 lead at intermission. GW shot just 34.5 percent in the opening stanza, including 0- of-9 from long distance.

The Colonials made things interesting midway through the second half, as they climbed to within five points of the lead, but the Rams ended the threat with a 14-3 run and cruised to the 17-point victory from there.

GW committed an uncharacteristically high number of turnovers (22), which VCU converted into 29 points.
