Pocatello, ID (SportsNetwork.com) - Andre Hatchett scored a game-high 27 points, leading four starters in double figures, as the Idaho State Bengals posted an 83-72 win over the Eastern Washington Eagles in Big Sky Conference play Holt Arena.

Tomas Sanchez logged a double-double with 15 points and 11 assists, while Jeffrey Solarin had a double-double of his own with 14 points and 11 rebounds, followed by Chris Hansen with 12 points for the Bengals (5-6, 2-0 Big Sky) in their second straight win.

Eastern Washington (5-8, 0-2) was paced by Tyler Harvey with 19 points, Parker Kelly responded with 16 and Venky Jois 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Drew Brandon posted 14 points before fouling out.

ISU made good on 52.8 percent from the field in the first half, including 5- of-12 behind the 3-point line, en route to a 44-32 lead at the break.

In the second half the Bengals missed all six opportunities on the perimeter and fell to 42.3 percent from the field, but made up for it with 17-of-22 shooting at the free-throw line.

The hosts outscored the Eagles at the charity stripe by an 18-8 margin.
