GAME NOTES: After a month of basketball, the Drexel Dragons finally open up their home schedule when they host the Cleveland State Vikings tonight at the Daskalakis Athletic Center.

Drexel's first six games this season have been either on the road or at neutral sites with the most recent being one of the early-season thrillers.

The Dragons are coming off a triple-overtime 85-83 win against Alabama in the consolation of the NIT Season Tip-Off. Chris Fouch scored 19 points to lead Drexel, which lost the opener of championship round to then fourth-ranked Arizona.

Drexel's only two losses this season have come to ranked teams. The Dragons lost their opener to then 22nd-ranked UCLA. They have won four of five since that setback.

Cleveland State comes into tonight's contest having alternated wins and losses through its first seven games. Last time out, the Vikings defeated Ball State, 78-55, behind Trey Lewis' career-high 23 points. Lewis was making just his second start of the season as regular starter Charlie Lee continues to be sidelined with a knee injury.

Drexel learned on Monday that they will be without its third-leading scorer Damion Lee, who suffered a torn ACL in his right knee in the loss to Arizona. Lee was averaging 13.0 points per game.

For the season, Fouch is leading the Dragons with 19.5 points per game. Frantz Massenat adds 13.8 points for Drexel, which averages just 72.2 points per game.

The Vikings shot a blistering 63 percent from the floor for the game, while holding Ball State to just 36 percent shooting. Cleveland State scored the first eight points of the game and never trailed, improving to 3-0 at home this season.

Bryn Forbes leads Cleveland State in scoring, averaging 19.3 points per game. Lewis is next with a 14.4 ppg average, but he has averaged 17.4 ppg over his last four outings.

Two games ago, Cleveland State almost pulled off one of the biggest wins in its history, losing 68-61 at Kentucky. Forbes scored 22 in that contest, going 11-for-11 from the free throw line, with Lewis adding 15 points. After that game, it will be hard for the Vikings to sneak up on anyone else this season.

Expect Drexel, which won the only other meeting between these two schools (69-49) to be ready and use the home crowd to its advantage.

Sports Network Predicted Outcome: Drexel 75, Cleveland State 72.
