GAME NOTES: The La Salle Explorers will try to snap a five-game losing streak when they host the St. Bonaventure Bonnies tonight at Tom Gola Arena.

The Explorers enter the evening at 4-8 in the A-10, while the Bonnies are 6-7.

La Salle suffered a 62-49 loss at Richmond on Saturday. The Explorers were led by Tyreek Duren with a game-high 26 points on 6-of-9 shooting behind the 3- point line, while Jerrell Wright responded with 10 points and nine rebounds as the team bowed for the eighth time in nine tries.

Duren (14.9 ppg) is shooting 49.2 percent from the field in A-10 games and is currently the third-ranked active scorer in the conference (1,646 points). He is also sixth in the A-10 in 3-point shooting (.416). Steve Zack (9.2 ppg, 9.8 rpg) paces the A-10 in double-doubles with 13, while Tyrone Garland (13.2 ppg) is second on the club in scoring. Wright (12.7 ppg, 6.4 rpg) is shooting 56.3 percent from the field. La Salle has won 12 of its last 16 games against A-10 opponents at Gola Arena, and is 7-4 in the building this season. Duren, who has scored in double figures in 16 straight contests, is also two steals shy of climbing into third place on La Salle's all-time list.

The Bonnies had their three-game win streak stopped on Saturday in an 87-78 loss at home to Rhode Island. The Bonnies were paced by Youssou Ndoye who tallied 21 points before fouling out. Matthew Wright and Charlon Kloof accounted for 20 and 12 points, respectively.

Over the last eight games, Wright has averaged 18.3 points, while shooting 40 percent from the floor and 95 percent (48-of-52) at the foul line. He is seventh in the Atlantic 10 in scoring at 16.1 ppg, and leads the league in free-throw shooting percentage (.883). Kloof (11.8 ppg), the team captain, is third in the conference in assists (4.8 apg). Junior guard Andell Cumberbatch (9.1 ppg) is also part of the starting lineup. Senior forward Marquise Simmons (7.9 ppg) tops the A-10 in field goal percentage (.635), while Ndoye (9.7 ppg, 5.6 rpg) is third in the conference in blocks with 62. Sophomore forward Dion Wright (9.4 ppg) is one of the best sixth men in the conference.

The Bonnies dominated the Explorers, 66-51, on Jan. 22. Kloof had 18 points, but the story of that game was the defense for St. Bonaventure. La Salle shot 30 percent from the field, including 3-of-17 out on the perimeter. The Explorers can turn that around knowing they've won four of the last five times they've faced the Bonnies at home.

Sports Network Predicted Outcome: La Salle 68, St. Bonaventure 66
