Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - Dave Sobolewski scored a game-high 25 points, leading five players in double figures, as the Northwestern Wildcats crushed the Illinois-Chicago Flames, 93-58, in non-conference play at UIC Pavilion.

Drew Crawford pitched in with 18 points for the Wildcats (2-2), followed by Tre Demps with 13 off the bench. Alex Olah and Sanjay Lumpkin both delivered 10 points, the latter clearing 10 rebounds which was second only to JerShon Cobb who accounted for 12 boards.

The Flames (1-3) were paced by Jordan Harks who recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Kelsey Barlow added 10 points on just 3-of-11 shooting from the floor.

Northwestern not only shot 57.1 percent from the floor in the first half, the team also connected on 7-of-12 behind the 3-point line, taking the Wildcats to a 47-22 lead at intermission. Not only did UIC make only seven field goals on 31 attempts through the first 20 minutes, the hosts also shot a mere 5-of-12 at the free-throw line.

In the second half the visitors put the game away with a sizzling 65.2 percent shooting from the field.

The Flames made just 29.0 percent from the field and 15-of-26 at the charity stripe on the night.
