GAME NOTES: Road-weary Portland State has made the trip to the Dee Events Center to take on the Weber State Wildcats, hoping to snap a long road losing streak.

Unfortunately for the Vikings, the Wildcats will be more than willing to continue Portland State's roes woes.

Portland State dropped its 19th straight road game on Thursday, falling to Idaho State, 87-76, despite five players scoring in double figures. Andre Wilson and DaShaun Wiggins scored 13 points apiece, Marcus Hall and Tim Douglas each poured in 12, and Zach Gengler netted 11 in the setback.

Douglas, Wiggins, Winston and Aaron Moore all average double digits on the season, with Douglas leading the way at 15.7 ppg. Winston leads the team in rebounding at 5.8 rpg to go along with 11.8 ppg, while Wiggins and Winston check in at 13.0 and 10.4 ppg, respectively.

Weber State, meanwhile, was in a close game in its Big Sky Conference opener against Eastern Washington, but wound up squeaking out a 74-67 victory. The Wildcats trailed by double digits in the second half, but stayed close and made enough free throws in crunch time to escape with their 19th consecutive home conference win.

Jeremy Senglin scored 16 points on Thursday, while Joel Bolomboy logged a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Bolomboy has been a force on the offensive and defensive glass, ripping down 9.3 rpg to go along with 8.4 ppg. Three players are averaging double figures for a Wildcats bunch that is putting up 73.0 ppg despite shooting a poor 31.3 percent from behind the arc.

Davion Berry leads the team with 15.8 ppg, while Kyle Tresnak and Senglin are netting 12.2 ppg apiece.

The Vikings have won just once in 21 visits to Ogden and have dropped six straight meetings against the Wildcats, who can pull to .500 for the first time this season with a win. Recent history suggests Weber State will do just that.

Sports Network Predicted Outcome: Weber State 73, Portland State 65
