Jacksonville, AL (SportsNetwork.com) - D.J. Felder netted 17 points and pulled down five rebounds as the Jacksonville State Gamecocks defeated the Tennessee State Tigers, 70-64, in Ohio Valley Conference action at Pete Mathews Coliseum.

Darion Rackley scored 15 points, hitting 9-of-10 from the free-throw line, for Jacksonville State (9-12, 3-3 OVC). Brian Williams contributed 14 points in the victory. The Gamecocks have won two of their last three games.

Patrick Miller scored a game-high 21 points with six rebounds for the Tigers (2-18, 1-5). M.J. Rhett was the only other Tennessee State player to score in double figures, adding 12 points and securing 10 rebounds for the double- double. The Tigers have lost the last four games they've played.

Jacksonville State shot an impressive 58.3 percent from the floor in the first half, taking a 39-22 lead into the break. Tennessee State struggled, going 8- of-21 (38.1 percent) from the floor in the initial 20 minutes.

The Gamecocks' shooting percentage plummeted in the second frame, falling to 24 percent. The Tigers hit 44.4 percent of their field goal attempts in the period, but couldn't dig themselves out of their first-half hole.

Jacksonville State took advantage of 11 TSU turnovers that resulted in 19 points.
