NCAA Game Summary - Harvard at Yale

New Haven, CT (Sports Network) - Steve Moundou-Missi led five Crimson players in double-figures with 17 points as Harvard defeated the Yale Bulldogs, 72-66, in an Ivy League matchup at the John J. Lee Amphitheater.

Siyani Chambers and Wesley Saunders added 14 points each for Harvard (17-7, 9-1 Ivy), which also received 13 points from Laurent Rivard. Christian Webster chipped in 10 points to help the Crimson pick up their fourth win in a row.

Matt Townsend and Javier Duren scored 15 points apiece for Yale (11-16, 5-5). Justin Sears provided a spark off the bench with 12 points as the Bulldogs had their two-game winning streak concluded.

Yale hit on 52.4 percent of its field goal attempts and made all four of its free-throw attempts in the first half, but the Crimson took a 34-28 lead into halftime by pouring in 54.5 percent of their shots from the floor.

The Bulldogs managed to tie the score at 46 before Durent put them ahead with a make from beyond the arc at the 12:09 mark of the second half. Yale then managed to extend its lead to five at 56-51, but Harvard scored 10 unanswered points to go back in front for good. The Crimson connected on 54.5 percent of their field goal tries in the second half to hang on for the win.

Although Yale committed just one more miscue than the visitors, Harvard held a 21-13 advantage in points off of turnovers.
