Milwaukee, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - Kelsey Barlow scored a game-high 23 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field to lead Illinois-Chicago Flames over the Milwaukee Panthers, 80-58, a Horizon League tilt at U.S. Cellular Arena.

The Flames (6-23, 1-14 Horizon) snapped a 17-game losing streak and nabbed their first victory in conference play this season. Jordan Harks finished with 10 points in the win.

Kyle Kelm led the Panthers (16-13, 6-9) with 12 points, while Matt Tiby and Jordan Aaron each scored 10.

UIC was red-hot from the field to start the game, knocking down its field goals at a 51.9 percent clip, as the Flames took a comfortable lead into halftime, 39-27. Milwaukee struggled early on, making just 31 percent of its field goal tries before intermission.

After the break the Flames were even better from the floor, shooting 52 percent as they opened the second half on a 16-7 run to take complete control. They coasted the rest of the way and handed the Panthers their fourth-straight loss in the process. The Panthers's shooting woes continued in the second half, as they hit on just 32.1 percent from the field in the period.

The Flames were dominant in the front court, outscoring the Panthers 32-20 in the paint and outrebounding the hosts, 41-31. Milwaukee did not help itself at the charity stripe, as it finished the night just 16-of-26.
