Dayton, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - A.J. Pacher scored a team-high 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the Wright State Raiders outlasted the Illinois- Chicago Flames, 58-53, in Horizon League play at the Wright State Nutter Center.

Pacher connected on 3-of-5 shooting from the floor, but did most of his damage from the free-throw line, hitting 11-of-13 for Wright State (11-8, 3-1 HL). Jerran Young scored 13 points off the bench, and Reggie Arceneaux netted 10 for the Raiders, who have won six of their last seven games.

Kelsey Barlow scored a game-high 19 points for UIC (5-12, 0-3), securing eight rebounds in the loss. Marc Brown was the only other Flames player in double figures, netting 14 on 4-of-6 shooting from the floor. UIC has lost six consecutive games.

Wright state had an abysmal first half shooting, going 7-of-25 from the floor (28 percent), including 2-of-10 from 3-point distance. UIC shot 39.1 percent in the first period and took a 27-26 lead into the break.

The Raiders improved to 40.9 percent shooting in the second frame, while the Flames dropped to 33.3 percent. Wright State outscored UIC at the free-throw line in the half, 12-8.

The Raiders forced 17 UIC turnovers, but could only turned them into 10 points. Wright State had the advantage in points in the paint, 20-14, and outscored the Flames in bench points, 19-8.
