The Spiders made only 1- of-8 shots from beyond the arc and missed 7-of-9 at the charity stripe in the second stanza. After Johnson made the front end of a late trip to the free- throw line to give the visitors a 61-59 edge, Anthony evened the score at 61 with a jumper with only 22 seconds left in regulation. Lindsay scored on three-straight possessions in overtime to give Richmond a 69-67 advantage with 32 seconds showing on the clock, but he failed to connect on his final field goal attempt as time winded down. Wayne Sparrow grabbed an offensive rebound after Lindsay's miss before his jumper as time expired fell off the mark.
