(Tuesday, February 5)

Final Score: North Carolina 87, Wake Forest 62

Chapel Hill, NC (Sports Network) - Reggie Bullock scored 23 points to help lead the North Carolina Tar Heels to a convincing 87-62 victory over the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in an Atlantic Coast Conference bout at the Smith Center.

Bullock shot 7-of-10 from the field, including 4-of-5 from 3-point range for UNC (16-6, 6-3 ACC), which has won three straight and six of its last seven. James Michael McAdoo finished with 20 points, while P.J. Hairston poured in 11 points for the home team.

For Wake Forest (10-12, 3-7), Devin Thomas tallied a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds, while Arnaud William Adala Moto and C.J. Harris chipped in 13 and 12 points, respectively. The Deacons extended their season- long losing streak to four games.

UNC opened up a comfortable 47-27 halftime advantage by shooting a lofty 62.1 percent from the floor in the first half. Wake Forest made good on less than 40 percent of its shots attempts in the opening 20 minutes.

The Tar Heels' field goal efficiency slowed to 42.4 percent after the break, but they still outscored the Deacons in the second half, 40-35, on their way to an easy win.

UNC shot 9-of-15 from 3-point range, while Wake Forest was a lowly 2-of-18 from beyond the arc.
