Eugene, OR (SportsNetwork.com) - Joseph Young drained all nine of his free- throw attempts on his way to 21 points, as the Oregon Ducks downed the USC Trojans, 78-66, in a Pac-12 Conference showdown at Matthew Knight Arena.

Young also chipped in on the defensive end of the floor with six steals for Oregon (15-6, 3-6 Pac-12), which has won two of three. Jason Calliste poured in 18 points off the bench, while Mike Moser netted 13.

For USC (10-12, 1-8), losers of three in a row, Byron Wesley had 19 points, J.T. Terrell scored 15 and Omar Oraby finished with 10.

USC shot 50 percent from the field in the first half, compared to 38.7 percent for Oregon, as the Trojans took a 38-34 lead into intermission.

The Trojans once again outshot the Ducks from the field in the second stanza, 47.8 percent to 41.9 percent, but Oregon took control of the game by outscoring the Trojans from 3-point range (9-0) and at the foul line (15-6).

USC cost itself big time with 22 turnovers, while Oregon committed only six miscues.
