Las Vegas, NV (SportsNetwork.com) - Naji Hibbert led all scorers with 23 points as the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs outlasted the Morehead State Eagles in overtime, 86-82, as part of the Las Vegas Invitational at Orleans Arena.

Hibbert shot 8-of-13 from the floor, including 4-of-8 from 3-point range for GWU (4-4). Isaiah Ivey netted 17 points, Tyrell Nelson tallied a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Josh Castellanos chipped in 11 points on 11-of-12 from the free-throw line.

Morehead State dominated the first half, outshooting GWU from the field, 57.9 percent to 25 percent, as it carried a 34-21 lead into intermission.

The Eagles led by as many as 17 after the break before the Bulldogs mounted their comeback. After GWU briefly took the lead with 4:21 left on a Tyler Strange bucket, Morehead State ripped off a 9-2 run to take a six-point lead with 2:17 left, but the Bulldogs continued to show resiliency, and with 11 seconds to play in regulation, Ivey drained the game-tying 3-pointer to force overtime.

GWU scored the first points of the extra session and never surrendered the lead from there, helping its cause by shooting 14-of-17 from the stripe in the final five minutes.

GWU was outscored in the paint, 48-24, but it made 33-of-44 from the foul line.
