Baton Rouge, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - Paced by a game-high 17 points by Johnny O'Bryant III, the LSU Tigers made easy work of the UAB Blazers, 86-63, in a non-conference bout at the Maravich Center.

Andre Stringer scored 13 points for LSU (8-2), while Jarell Martin and Jordan Mickey scored 12 points apiece. Mickey also added six rebounds and four blocks for the Tigers, who have won four in a row.

For UAB (9-3), Chad Frazier netted 15 points but on just 4-of-16 from the field. CJ Washington tallied a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Fahro Alihodzic also put up 12 points.

LSU connected on 51.3 percent of its field goal attempts in the first half, including a red-hot 7-of-11 from 3-point range, as it took a 49-33 lead into intermission. UAB failed to keep pace, shooting 43.8 percent from the field and 0-of-4 from beyond the arc.

The Tigers regressed to 44.4 percent from the field in the second half, but they cruised to victory by holding the Blazers to only 18.9 percent.

The Blazers shot a woeful 1-of-16 from 3-point range while also hurting their cause with a game-high 15 turnovers.
