GAME NOTES: It's been a rough season for James Madison. The defending Colonial Athletic Association tournament champions have lost three in a row heading into today's contest against William & Mary at Kaplan Arena.

The Dukes are coming off a 56-52 defeat against Northeastern on Wednesday. Andre Nation led JMU with 16 points and five rebounds, while Charles Cooke added 14 points. It was the fourth time this year that the Dukes have lost without ever holding the lead in a game.

Nation, a sophomore guard, sat out 15 games this season due to a suspension, but he is one of the team's offensive leaders (15.0 ppg) and is shooting 55.9 percent from the field. Cooke (15.8 ppg), Ron Curry (11.5 ppg), Andrey Semenov (11.3 ppg) and forward Taylor Bessick are also part of the starting lineup for a team that averages on 62.7 ppg, which is the lowest in the CAA. Semenov has scored 60 points in his last four game. The Dukes are making only 27.2 percent of their 3-point shots, which is next-to-last in the conference. Additionally, James Madison has struggled moving the ball around on offense, as it is averaging only 8.4 assists, which is easily the worst figure in the CAA.

James Madison head coach Matt Brady has been trying different combinations in an effort to breed success, but it hasn't been working. JMU has used seven different starting lineups thus far. Cooke and Bessick are the only players to start every game.

William & Mary suffered a 76-71 loss at Delaware on Wednesday, as Tim Rusthoven scored 13 points for the Tribe. Brandon Britt tallied 12 points, while Terry Tarpey registered a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Marcus Thornton and Omar Prewitt each had 10 points as well. Rusthoven became the 36th player to score 1,000 career points in Tribe history. Prewitt leads CAA rookies in scoring (13.9 ppg) and rebounding (5.1 rpg). Thornton (18.7 ppg) heads the Tribe in scoring, while Rusthoven (12.7 ppg) is shooting 57.1 percent from the field.

The Tribe are at the top of the conference in field goal percentage (.464), 3- point percentage (.381), assists (13.9 apg), steals (6.2 spg) and 3-pointers made (8.7 per game).

James Madison won all three games against the Tribe last season, but this season is a different story for the Dukes, who are struggling with a young team. W&M should be able to take advantage and claim its fourth straight home win.

Sports Network Predicted Outcome: William & Mary 76, James Madison 65
