Hempstead, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Jamall Robinson scored a game-high 22 points as the Hofstra Pride registered an 82-71 win over the James Madison Dukes in Colonial Athletic Association action at the Mack Sports Complex.

Also scoring in double figures for the Pride (9-22, 5-11 CAA) were Zeke Upshaw and Dion Nesmith with 18 and 12 points, respectively. Coming up a point shy of a double-double was Stephen Nwaukoni who cleared a game-high 13 rebounds as Hofstra snapped a five-game slide in the regular-season finale.

Leading the Dukes (11-19, 6-10) on offense was Andrey Semenov with 17 points, followed by Ron Curry and Charles Cooke with 15 points apiece and Jackson Kent 10 points before fouling out in the team's second straight setback.

James Madison, which led by as many as six in the first half, shot 60.9 percent from the field and 6-of-12 behind the 3-point line through the first 20 minutes of action, en route to a 41-39 advantage at the break. The Pride remained within striking distance thanks to 50 percent accuracy from the floor.

In the second half the Dukes came crashing back to reality with a mere 8-of-33 (.242) shooting from the field, including 3-of-12 beyond the arc, allowing Hofstra to battle back and take a sizeable lead, en route to the double-digit victory.

The game featured seven ties and 12 lead changes as the Pride took great care of the ball with just six turnovers on the evening.
