NCAA Game Summary - Boston College at NC State

Final Score: NC State 82, Boston College 64

Raleigh, NC (Sports Network) - Rodney Purvis scored a game-high 21 points off the bench as the NC State Wolfpack defeated the Boston College Eagles, 82-64, in Atlantic Coast Conference action at PNC Arena.

Scott Wood recorded 17 points for the Wolfpack (20-8, 9-6 ACC). T.J. Warren added 13 points and eight rebounds. Lorenzo Brown contributed 11 points and six assists. C.J. Leslie was one rebound shy of a double-double with 10 points as NC State won its fourth of its last five games.

For the Eagles (12-16, 4-11), Lonnie Jackson recorded a team-high 16 points off the bench. Ryan Anderson and Olivier Hanlan added 12 points apiece as Boston College lost for a second time in a row.

Both teams were 5-of-12 from long-range in the first half. Boston College made 11-of-28 from the floor, but NC State made 13-of-28 as it took a 33-27 advantage at the break.

In the second, NC State was red-hot, making 20-of-31 from the floor. Boston College was held to 10-of-26 from the floor as the Wolfpack took the 18-point victory.

NC State controlled the boards, 39-25, and dominated points in the paint, 46-22.
