Baltimore, MD (SportsNetwork.com) - Scott Eatherton recorded a double-double with 23 points and 15 rebounds as the Northeastern Huskies dismissed the Drexel Dragons, 90-81, in the quarterfinals of the 32nd annual Colonial Athletic Association Tournament at Baltimore Arena.

Also producing a double-double for fifth-seeded Northeastern (11-20) was Zach Stahl who tallied 19 points and 12 boards in 27 minutes off the bench. David Walker and TJ Williams pitched in with 18 and 12 points, respectively, the latter shooting only 1-of-6 from the field but 10-of-12 at the free-throw line.

The fourth-seeded Dragons (16-14) were paced by Chris Fouch who scored a game- high 30 points, shooting 11-of-20 from the floor and 4-of-8 behind the 3-point line before fouling out. Frantz Massenat was responsible for another 19 points and Rodney Williams 11 and seven rebounds, as well as four blocked shots in the setback.

Drexel led by as many as seven points early in the first half, but the team ended up shooting a dismal 30.8 percent from the field in the period, including 1-of-5 behind the 3-point line. After moving out to a 13-8 advantage, the Dragons fell behind once the Huskies put together a 12-0 run, en route to a commanding 35-21 advantage at the break.

In the second half the Dragons turned it around with 56.4 percent accuracy from the floor, 6-of-11 shooting on the outside, but at the same time the defense allowed Northeastern to make good on 65.2 percent from the field. The Huskies maintained a sizeable lead thanks to 23-of-31 at the free-throw line after intermission.

Northeastern turned the ball over 15 times on the day, but more than made up for those miscues by producing a 42-31 rebounding lead and outscoring Drexel at the charity stripe, 32-14.

The Huskies will be back in action on Sunday versus top-seeded Delaware for the right to appear in the title game on Monday night.
