San Jose, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Rashad Muhammad and D.J. Brown scored 17 points each as the San Jose Spartans coasted to an 81-59 decision over the Cal State Fullerton Titans in a non-conference tilt at the Event Center.

Devante Wilson added 16 points and three steals for SJSU (2-4), while Chris Cunningham registered a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Michael Williams paced the Titans (2-3) with 12 points and six rebounds. Josh Gentry chipped in 10 points in the loss.

The Spartans knocked down 9-of-19 attempts from behind the 3-point line in the opening 20 minutes en route to a 49-19 lead at the break. Fullerton connected on just 29.1 percent of its shots from the floor in the first half.

The Titans narrowed the deficit after the intermission by hitting on 43.3 percent of their shots from the floor while converting 10-of-13 attempts at the free-throw line. Despite shooting 30.8 percent from the field in the second stanza, SJSU managed to protect its lead by sinking 14-of-20 tries at the charity stripe in the second half.

The Spartans enjoyed a 40-37 edge in the rebounding battle and their bench outscored Fullerton's reserves, 41-26, to help them claim their second consecutive win.
