NCAA Game Summary - Idaho State at Montana State

(Thursday, February 20th)

Final Score: Montana State 66, Idaho State 60

Bozeman, MT (SportsNetwork.com) - Terrell Brown tallied 13 points, leading four starters in double figures, as the Montana State Bobcats captured a 66-60 win over the Idaho State Bengals in Big Sky Conference play at Worthington Arena.

Antonio Biglow and Marcus Colbert both added 12 points for the Bobcats (13-13, 8-7 Big Sky), followed by Flavien Davis with 11 and eight rebounds as they posted their third win in the last four outings.

The Bengals (10-14, 7-8) were paced by Jeffrey Solarin with his game-high 20 points on 8-of-9 shooting from the floor, while Andre Hatchett contributed 17 points. Tomas Sanchez finished with 10 points, but shot only 2-of-10 from the field in the process.

Both teams had trouble finding the basket in the first half, each converting just nine field goals, but thanks to an 11-of-12 showing at the free-throw line the Bengals were able to claim a slim 30-29 advantage at the break.

After converting just 33.3 percent from the floor through the first 20 minutes of action, MSU connected on 52.0 percent in the second half and added 11-of-13 at the charity stripe in order to pull out the win.

In a game that featured eight ties and 10 lead changes, Idaho State's reserves produced only four points on the night.
