GAME NOTES: The Delaware Blue Hens take aim at their season-high fourth consecutive victory when they play on the road against the James Madison Dukes in a Colonial Athletic Association matchup on Saturday afternoon.

It was a positive start for the Blue Hens in conference play on Wednesday with an 86-79 home win over Hofstra. Devon Saddler scored 24 points off the bench, leading four players in double figures. Jarvis Threatt accounted for 20 points and seven rebounds, followed by Davon Usher and Kyle Anderson with 19 and 12 points, respectively.

Saddler (20.8 ppg), a senior guard, has scored in double figures during all nine games in which he has appeared this season. Threatt (18.0 ppg, 5.3 apg), Usher (17.2 ppg, 6.1 rpg), Anderson (14.1 ppg) and Carl Baptiste (10.3 ppg, 7.6 rpg) have the Blue Hens on a roll. Delaware is averaging a CAA-best 81.4 ppg, but the Blue Hens are giving up 78.9 ppg, which is the worst mark in the conference. The Blue Hens have the best free-throw percentage (.722). Threatt not only leads the league in assists, but he is also tops in steals (2.3 spg). Anderson is making a conference-best 48.2 percent of his 3-point attempts.

James Madison will play only its third home game of the season today. The Dukes had a three-game win streak snapped on Tuesday in a 75-61 loss at the College of Charleston. The Dukes were led by Charles Cooke, who had 21 points on 8-of-15 shooting from the field, as well as six rebounds. Andrey Semenov scored 19 on just seven field goal attempts.

The Dukes allow only 68.1 ppg, but are scoring a CAA-low 62.7 ppg. Cooke (16.0 ppg) and Taylor Bessick (7.8 ppg) are the only players to start every game. Bessick is shooting only 59.4 percent from the foul line. Semenov (12.2 ppg) and Ron Curry (11.5 ppg) are part of the starting lineup for a team that is shooting just 28.5 percent from 3-point land. That's considerably lower than the Blue Hens (.363). Sophomore guard Andre Nation, who missed the first 15 games while serving a suspension for a violation of athletic department policy, had four points in his first game of the season on Tuesday.

James Madison has won three straight and five of the last six meetings, but the Blue Hens are in position to get head coach Monte Ross his 100th career victory today. That would break a tie with current Notre Dame coach Mike Brey for the third-most wins in Delaware history. behind only Steve Steinwedel (163) and Irv Wisniewski (110).

Sports Network Predicted Outcome: Delaware 75, James Madison 70
