GAME NOTES: The Dartmouth Big Green will continue a lengthy homestand on Saturday night, as they host the Princeton Tigers in an Ivy League conflict at Leede Arena.

Princeton is playing in its second road game of the weekend, after being topped by Harvard in an 82-76 final on Friday night. The Tigers have lost two of their last three games, and are still searching for their first win in league play (0-2). They are still an impressive 12-4 overall, with home games against Columbia and Cornell up next.

Dartmouth got the weekend started with a 67-58 victory over Penn on Friday night. The Big Green, who are in the midst of a five-game homestand, ended a five-game losing streak with Friday's win, moved to 8-9 overall, and 1-2 in the conference. They will finish the homestand off next weekend with a pair of games against Yale and Brown.

The Tigers have swept the season series with Dartmouth in each of the last four seasons, improving their already significant series lead (144-61) in the process.

Despite knocking down 50.9 percent of their shots from the floor, including 10-of-26 from 3-point range, the Tigers didn't have enough in the tank to get over on Harvard last night. Princeton turned the ball over 16 times in the loss, which led to 19 points for the Crimson.

T.J. Bray scored 26 points and Hans Brase netted 20 on Friday. Bray (17.9 ppg) is no stranger to big point totals. Although he is not qualified for the league's scoring list because he has missed five games, Bray would be ranked second if he were eligible. Brase (12.2 ppg, 6.1 rpg) is a solid scorer as well as the team's leading rebounder. Will Barrett (11.4 ppg) can also score, with Ben Hazel (9.4 ppg) adding depth. Such a list of scorers has helped Princeton be one of the better offensive teams in the Ivy League, as it lead the conference in scoring (75.4 ppg), while shooting 45.7 percent from the field.

After managing only six field goals in the first half, Dartmouth came roaring back in the second against Penn, netting 55.6 percent from the field to rally for the nine-point win. Alex Mitola knocked down 6-of-14 shots from the floor and 9-of-11 at the free-throw line to finish with a game-high 25 points.

The Big Green are not one of the more potent scoring teams in the Ivy League, at not least on a regular basis. They are only netting 68.2 ppg, although they connect on 46 percent of their field goal attempts. They also do a solid job defensively, limiting opponents to 63.6 ppg. The Big Green suffered a big blow earlier this week with leading scorer and rebounder Gabas Maldunas (11.2 ppg, 8.5 rpg) out after undergoing right knee surgery. Without Maldunas, Mitola (10.7 ppg) and Connor Boehm (10.7 ppg) are the team's best hope on offense. However, Boehm had only five points against Penn, while John Golden (9.4 ppg) netted 15.

For the most part, Princeton has performed well on the road this season (5-3). With Bray playing at a high level, the Tigers should be able to add to their win total, especially against the hobbled Big Green.
