Craig Ponder came off the bench to score a team-high 16 points behind 7-of-9 shooting from the floor for the Seahawks (6-14, 0-5), who suffered their seventh consecutive loss. Chris Dixon and Cedrick Williams rounded out the double-digit scorers with 13 and 11 points, respectively.

The Seahawks had the hot hand in the early going, as they shot a blistering 59.3 percent from the floor in the first half and took a 40-27 lead into the break.

However, Drexel came alive after halftime and shot 66.7 percent from the floor and made 16-of-18 free throws, while UNCW cooled off and made only seven field goals over the final 20 minutes (28 percent). The Seahawks were outscored by a 52-23 margin in the second half as they shot just 1-of-9 from beyond the arc and converted only 8-of-16 free-throw attempts.
