GAME NOTES: A pair of West Coast Conference teams heading in different directions meet at the Spanos Center on Saturday, as the rising Pacific Tigers host the struggling San Diego Toreros.

San Diego is mired in a four-game slide, the latest setback coming on Thursday in a 69-57 defeat at Saint Mary's that put the team under the .500 mark. Dennis Kramer scored a game-high 25 points and pulled down nine rebounds in the loss, while Johnny Dee and Duda Sanadze followed with 14 and 10 points, respectively.

Dee leads all WCC players in 3-point field goals per game (2.9), and he also ranks third in the league in scoring at 17.1 ppg. Sanadze has had a breakout sophomore campaign en route to an average of 13.1 ppg, and the 5-foot-7 Christopher Anderson is contributing 9.6 ppg to go along with 5.8 apg. Kramer leads a thin frontcourt with 12.0 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.

The Toreros have been held under 70 points in 10 consecutive outings, while the Tigers have hit for at least 80 in their last four, the most recent of which being an 89-82 win over BYU on Thursday.

Tony Gill led five Pacific players in double figures with 18 points, and the Tigers shot 62.5 percent from the field in the second half (7-of-9 from behind the arc) to pull away for their third win in four games. Trevin Harris and Andrew Bock both tallied 13 points, followed by Aaron Short and Khalil Kelley with 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Nine different Tigers are averaging at least 10 minutes per tilt. Bock is averaging a team-high 12.3 ppg, with Sama Taku (11.3 ppg) and Gill (11.5 ppg, 6.0 rpg) not far behind.

Pacific crushed San Diego 84-67 on the Toreros' home floor earlier this month, and a given both teams' play of late, a similar outcome is likely on Saturday.

Sports Network Predicted Outcome: Pacific 84, San Diego 70
