UNC's Wright Unanimous Pick to ACC's All-Freshman Team

North Carolina's Brandan Wright and Georgia Tech's Javaris Crittenton were unanimous picks to the Atlantic Coast Conference all-freshman team Monday.

They were joined by North Carolina State forward Brandon Costner, North Carolina point guard Ty Lawson and Duke guard Jon Scheyer in voting by 106 members of the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association.

Wright made an ACC-best 66 percent of his shots, while Crittenton ranks second in assists and third in steals.

Costner led all league freshmen by averaging 16.3 points a game, while Lawson is second in the conference in assist-turnover ratio.

Scheyer ranked third on the Duke team with 12.3 points per game, and he is an 84 percent free-throw shooter, ranking third in the ACC.
