Bilas: weighs in on Wake and Duke struggles

ESPN College Basketball Analyst Jay Bilas made his usual Thursday visit with The Insiders on 99.9FM The Fan ESPN Radio and talked about he saw sitting courtside during their 27 point loss at Clemson. Bilas believes Duke is suffering from a lack of scoring punch from any of their big men and he thinks Coach K doesn’t trust any of his big men right now. He also sees problems at the point guard position for the Blue Devils. So how do they get over it? Bilas anticipates a difficult few days for the Blue Devils players saying Coach K will not let his team forget the lopsided loss anytime soon even if they beat Miami Saturday.

Bilas also weighed in on Wake Forest, who he believes is suffering from lack of experience in their struggles on the road in the ACC. He pointed out “The ACC is a league that punishes youth”, as was the case Wednesday night at Miami. He thinks this is a loss that could shake Wake Forest for a while.
