The St. Augustine’s women tip off at 9 p.m.on Tuesday in Charlotte in the first day of a revamped CIAA Tournament format.
The tournament, at Time Warner Arena in Charlotte, will not begin Monday. Instead, there are two women’s games on Tuesday, including seventh-seeded St. Augustine’s against 10 seed Elizabeth City State at 9 p.m.
The men begin play on Wednesday, but the two Raleigh schools don’t play until Thursday. On Thursday, fifth-seeded St. Augustine’s plays fourth-seeded Bowie State at 1 p.m., and sixth-seeded Shaw plays Johnson C. Smith at 7 p.m.
Women: No. 8 Livingstone vs No. 9 Virginia Union, 7 p.m.
Women: No. 7 St. Augustine’s vs No. 10 Elizabeth City State, 9 p.m.
Women: No. 4 Virginia State vs. No. 5 St. Paul’s, 11 a.m.
