St. Aug's women fall in CIAA women's semifinals

CHARLOTTE - Wendy Stywalt scored 24 points as Johnson C. Smith beat St. Augustine’s 59-53 Friday night in the semifinals of the CIAA women’s tournament in Charlotte.
The loss knocked St. Aug’s to 15-14 on the season. Whitney Griffis led St. Aug’s with 10 points and Brittany Parker had nine.
