Radford head basketball coach Brad Greenberg and Binghamton head coach Kevin Broadus joined Adam Harris and Tim Hall on 99.9 FM "The Fan" Sunday night and discussed their teams' first-round NCAA Tournament matchups against North Carolina and Duke, respectively.
"It's all good," said Greenberg, in reference to the feelings surrounding his program as they prepare to take on the No.1 seed in the South Region. "Our team has had a great season, and for us to get an opportunity to go toe-to-toe with one of the best teams in the country is exciting."
Radford comes into Thursday's game against North Carolina with a 21-11 record and as champion of the Big South Conference.
Broadus expressed similar sentiments about his team's duel with the Duke Blue Devils. "We are honored to be in the tournament and playing a historic program like Duke. We celebrated after winning our league tournament, but now we are preparing for a giant task." Binghamton is on an 11-game winning streak and is the America East Conference champion.
Both games are Thursday at the Greensboro Coliseum.
