Allen Suber
After acting as a part-time starter in 2000, Suber assumed full control of the Wildcats' offense last season. The athletic QB was impressive, throwing for 1,726 yards and 16 touchdowns while scampering for 652 yards and six scores out of B-CC's option-based offense. The talented Floridian threw for 200 or more yards five times, and also had a pair of 100-yard rushing games for the 6-4 Wildcats. For his efforts, Suber was named the MEAC's First-Team All-League quarterback. There will be no time to sleep for Suber, however, as transfers Andre McGill (Oklahoma State) and Scot Austin (Cal State Northridge) will be gunning for his starting job.
-Tony Moss

Norfolk State head coach Mo Forte on Suber, "Allen Suber, in my opinion, has outstanding quickness and I think he has outstanding speed also. The thing that makes him good is that he has real good command of the offense that they're trying to run down there. He does an excellent job. Any time you have a young man that can run the type of offense that they're running, there's always an opportunity to get a big play on you."
