Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - David Glasco rushed for 81 yards and two touchdowns as the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners stunned the Houston Cougars, 27-7, in the season opener at brand new TDECU Stadium.

Tucker Carter threw for 121 yards on 15-of-24 passing for UTSA (1-0).

John O'Korn completed 21-of-43 pass attempts for 204 yards, but was intercepted four times for Houston (0-1). Deontay Greenberry had 96 yards on six catches, but the Cougars had a net total of minus-26 yards rushing.

UTSA got the scoring started thanks to a three-yard touchdown run from Glasco midway through the first quarter.

Glasco scored again just before halftime, this time from two yards out, as the Roadrunners took a 14-0 lead into the break.

UTSA kept piling on after halftime, getting an 11-yard rushing touchdown from Jarveon Williams and a 26-yard field goal from Sean Ianno in the frame.

Houston got a two-yard rushing touchdown from Ryan Jackson with just over a minute to play, but it was far too late for a comeback.

Houston, which led the country in turnover margin last season (+25), turned the ball over six times, while forcing only one takeaway.
