Carl Morris
Morris was the most explosive player on a Harvard team that finished the 2001 season a perfect 9-0, catching 71 passes for 943 yards and 12 touchdowns on the year. For his efforts, Morris won the Asa S. Bushnell Trophy, which goes to the Ivy League's top overall player. A late bloomer who did not play football until his junior year at Virginia's Episcopal High School, Morris is already the Crimson's career leader in receptions (155), receiving yards (2200), and touchdowns (20). Morris, who also returns punts for Tim Murphy's team, is seen as a prime pro prospect due to his size, speed, and versatility. Prior to his quest for the next level however, Morris will be a Walter Payton Award candidate on a team expected to repeat as Ivy champs.

Brown head coach Phil Estes on Morris, "He's just a complete player. Not only does he catch the ball, but it's what he does after he catches the ball. He's a very physical wide receiver. I think he's very durable, but he's got all of the athletic talent once he makes the catch. He's one of those guys that can take a swing pass and turn it into a 60-70 yard run just on pure athletic ability. I just think that Carl Morris is the complete package when it comes to a wide receiver."
