Cincinnati, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Brendon Kay tossed a career-high-tying four touchdown passes as the Cincinnati Bearcats dismissed the Connecticut Huskies, 41-16, in American Athletic Conference action at Nippert Stadium.

Kay completed 17-of-24 passes for a season-high 300 yards and went without an interception for Cincinnati (5-2, 2-1 AAC), which has won back-to-back games. Mekale McKay led the squad with 93 receiving yards on just two catches, while Chris Moore (three receptions, 65 yards) caught a pair of touchdowns.

For UConn (0-6, 0-2), Tim Boyle was 22-of-39 for 310 yards in his second- career start, but he also threw three interceptions and was sacked eight times. Geremy Davis had eight receptions for a career-high 140 yards, while Max DeLorenzo turned six carries into 46 yards and a touchdown.

Cincinnati set the tone on the game's first possession, driving 76 yards in just six plays, ending in an eight-yard touchdown pass from Kay to Moore.

UConn drove deep into Bearcats' territory late in the first quarter but had to settle for a 26-yard field goal by Chad Christen.

The Bearcats extended their lead early in the second quarter when Kay hooked up with Blake Annen on a 41-yard touchdown. Late in the first half, Deven Drane intercepted a Boyle pass to set Cincinnati up deep in UConn territory, and Kay took advantage by rushing in a one-yard score.

After forcing a Huskies' punt with less than a minute remaining in the first half, Cincinnati struck again with a 32-yard touchdown pass from Kay to Max Morrison. After a failed PAT, the Bearcats went into halftime with a 27-3 lead.

Cincinnati added to its advantage early in the third quarter when backup quarterback Jordan Luallen completed a 27-yard touchdown pass to Moore, but UConn was able to stop the bleeding less than three minutes later when DeLorenzo rushed in a 12-yard score.

Kay added another touchdown pass early in the fourth quarter, this time a 28- yarder to Anthony McClung.

The Huskies' defense got into the act late in the game by forcing a Bennie Coney fumble, which was picked up by Marquise Vann and returned 40 yards for a touchdown.

UConn finished with only 56 rushing yards on the afternoon. It also committed a game-high seven penalties.
