Bloomington, IN (Sports Network) - Nate Sudfeld completed 17-of-26 passes for 335 yards and two touchdowns, as the Indiana Hoosiers cruised to a 42-10 win over the Bowling Green Falcons in non-conference play from Memorial Stadium.

Cody Latimer was on the receiving end of six of those completions, and he finished with a career-best 137 yards receiving and a score. Stephen Houston had a game-high 155 yards rushing for the Hoosiers (2-1), while Tevin Coleman ran for 129 yards and two TDs.

Matt Johnson threw for 248 yards and an interception for the Falcons (2-1), who were aiming for their first 3-0 start since 2003 while also making their first-ever visit to Memorial Stadium. Shaun Joplin had seven catches for 104 yards in the loss.

Indiana struck first, as Coleman scored on a one-yard run with 9:38 to play in the first quarter. The touchdown was set up by a 48-yard completion from Sudfeld to Shane Wynn two plays earlier.

Bowling Green's special teams came up with a big play at the 4:36 mark of the opening frame, as Paul Senn blocked a punt and then scooped up the ball and scored from 56 yards.

The Falcons took a 10-7 lead on Tyler Tate's 45-yard field goal with 11:06 remaining in the second quarter.

Less than three minutes later, IU regained the lead on a 43-yard touchdown scamper by Coleman, and it was all Hoosiers the rest of the way.

Sudfeld made it a 21-10 game with an eight-yard touchdown pass to Kofi Hughes with 2:44 to play in the half.

Sudfeld accounted for the only scoring of the third quarter with a 33-yard touchdown pass to Latimer.

In the opening minute of the fourth quarter, Sudfeld scored on a one-yard quarterback sneak to stretch the lead to 35-10.

Less than three minutes later, the Hoosiers scored again, this time on a three-yard run by Tre Roberson.

IU piled up 601 yards of total offense, while the Hoosiers defense allowed only three points in 11 defensive series on the day.
