Midway through the fourth quarter, Navy put the game out of reach on a 45-yard touchdown pass from Reynolds to Aiken. Reynolds completed the two-point conversion on another pass to Aiken, taking the Midshipmen ahead, 35-14.

Finishing off the game's scoring was a 24-yard touchdown run by Navy's Tago Smith with two minutes left, making it a convincing 42-14.
