Final Score: Duke 35, Virginia 22

Charlottesville, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - Anthony Boone led Duke as he passed for 245 yards and two touchdowns as the Blue Devils earned an impressive come-from-behind win over the Virginia Cavaliers, 35-22, in an ACC clash at Scott Stadium.

The Blue Devils (5-2, 1-2 ACC) earned their first conference victory thanks to Boone who completed 21-of-39 pass attempts with one interception. Boone's key target was Jamison Crowder, who had nine catches for 113 yards and a touchdown. Despite a rough beginning to the game, Duke finished the first half strong as Crowder caught a six-yard touchdown pass from Boone in the final minute of the half. The Blue Devils trailed 22-7 at the break.

Duke then had full control for the final 30 minutes. After a 25-yard field goal from Ross Martin and a six-yard touchdown run from Connette, the Blue Devils had made it a one-score game as they trailed, 22-17 with 2:39 left in the third quarter.

The Blue Devils kept things rolling in the fourth quarter. Deaver caught two touchdown passes. He caught a 47-yard touchdown pass from Connette on a trick play and a 24-yard touchdown pass from Boone. With just under three minutes left in the game, Martin kicked in a 32-yard field goal to lock up the game for Duke. The Blue Devils scored 35 unanswered points en route to the 17-point victory.
