WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest has seven home games for the second year in a row, the ACC announced Thursday. It is just the third time in school history the Deacons have had seven home games.
Wake Forest’s 12 opponentshad a combined record of 84-69 last year, and eight of the 12 played in bowl games.
“Similar to last season, this will be one of the most challenging schedules in the country,” Wake Forest head coach Jim Grobe said in a statement. “It’s exciting to have seven home games and we’ll have to play our best at home and on the road to have a chance to win.”
The Deacons open at home against Baylor on Sept. 5.
