Meh, a lot of the responses seemed to be in the negative in terms of Big East expansion. If you're ECU, do you accept a football only membership to another conference even if it is a BCS one? No way that C-USA would allow members to skip out on football and remain in other sports. Does that mean that other sports at ECU go back to Colonial Athletic level competition? I'm not sure that ECU's athletic administration would want that either.
RE: Young receivers lift Tar Heels to 31-17 win over ECU
When some one says "we" won or lost, does that mean they work for the school or graduated from there? I'm an ECU alumnus....so I guess I can say "we" didn't win.
The Heels are a good team. ECU or "we" have a lot of work to do, that's college sports, you keep on trying.

I think most people use "we" because, as fans, they live vicariously through the team's successes and failures. Also, when you're a rabid fan of a team, you feel like you're a part of it whether you wear a uni or not. Third, when you spend money on tickets, t-shirts, hats, etc., you are making a financial investment in the team. That's just how it is. I will often times say "we" when discussing UNC sports, Redskins football, and Cardinals baseball.

Where are you at, I Like Everybody? This game wasn't as close as the score indicates. ECwho never had a chance.

Skip needs to start a new qb next week

Why? Next week he will not have UNC players to contend with. He's a good QB and will do fine the rest of the year.
Big east expansion. Could be good news for ECU
