Now who ever thought you’d see this at Florida State, where interest in men’s basketball is traditionally tepid?
The Duke men’s basketball team is at FSU on Saturday at 2 p.m., and some FSU students are camping out Friday for the = game.
So Florida State roommates Weston Poundstone and Richie Barnes decided to try get what has been a tradition at Duke going in Tallahassee.
“Anyone not wearing blue and white is welcome to come,” Poundstone told the Tallahassee Democrat.
Poundstone told the paper he has had about 20 friends tell him on Facebook that he’s coming.
Of course, camping out one night for the game doesn’t compare to the weeks Duke students spend waiting in line for UNC tickets.
And calling it “Hamiltonville” for coach Leonard Hamilton? Ugh.
