Tar Heels among three winless teams in ACC hoops
Conference play has begun in ACC basketball. All but three teams have played two conference games. Two teams are 2-0, three teams are 0-2. If you were told North Carolina would be in one of those two categories, you would have placed them in the former, not the latter. Otherwise, you need to take a trip to Las Vegas as soon as you can get a couple days off.
The ACC basketball standings see Clemson and Duke at the top. No shock that the Tigers and Devils have won their first two ACC games. But, the big surprise is out of Chapel Hill. There are nine ACC teams with better conference success than Carolina thus far. The Tar Heels are in the cellar of the conference standings with Georgia Tech and NC State. Who would have thought?
Now the search begins for reasons the Heels have dropped their first two ACC games for the first time under coach Roy Williams. Danny Green's comments on UNC team chemistry may or may not have called out his teammates.

Sexton to leave UNC
North Carolina confirmed today that redshirt junior quarterback Cam Sexton will graduate from UNC-CH in May, and intends to transfer to a Division II school. Sexton says he still want to compete, and is looking into a D-II program. NCAA rules specify that a player with only one year of eligibility remaining may not transfer to an FBS or FCS school.
Inside Carolina has a good Q&A with Sexton. Check out this link - http://northcarolina.scout.com/2/830232.html
I've already heard some chatter that UNC is losing their best QB with Sexton leaving Chapel Hill. I have to disagree. But after a great season filling in for TJ Yates, I guess there is a bit of an argument here. Who would have thought?
