1) North Carolina (20-2)-Remember when we were talking about the Tar Heels being the deepest team in the country? Wow, what a difference a few injuries and suspension make.

2) Clemson (19-2)-No longer the “Paper Tigers” after the beat down on Duke. Imagine how good they could be if North Carolina left the ACC.

3) Wake Forest (17-3)-Dino Gaudio is petitioning John Swofford to cancel the Demon Deacons remaining ACC road games.

4) Duke (19-3)-This team isn’t nearly as tough when they play ACC games outside of Cameron Indoor Stadium.

5) Boston College (18-6)-Quietly getting it done just like their Coach Al Skinner has for his entire career.

6) Florida State (17-5)-Another strong recruiting class for Bobby Bowden.

7) Virginia Tech (14-7)-Tough week for Seth Greenberg’s team who dropped two in a row, but on the bright side Bruce Smith is headed to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

8) Miami (15-7)-‘Canes made the Demon Deacons look like Duke at Clemson.

9) Maryland (14-8)-Best offensive output of the season at UNC. Unfortunately for Gary Williams though it was the Terps worst defensive output of the season too.

10) NC State (12-8)-Ben McCauley angling for an Under Armour commercial with his I must protect this house foul on Mike Copeland in the final two seconds of another blowout loss to the Tar Heels.

11) Georgia Tech (10-11)-Paul Hewitt might not have a great team, but he has a great agent. A $7(M) buyout, way to go!

12) Virginia (7-11)-Al Groh must wake up every day and ask why isn’t there a firedaveleitao.com?
